I came home the other day (the first time in awhile, actually) and I discovered Genevieve, the positively delightful Mrs Rookwood, entertaining upstairs. In our bedroom. With another man, if you've not fully comprehended the point I'm coming to. I know this isn't the first time that little slag has done something like this and I'm not entirely innocent myself but I've never caught her at it. Especially in OUR bedroom. It's disgusting. She says she didn't expect me home so soon. She thought I was off on another of my temper tantrums. Can you believe it? She accused ME of having a bloody temper tantrum!! And anyway, it's not as if that excuses anything. Needless to say, I was furious. I hexed the git for having the nerve and left again. I don't know why I even bother going home to that woman aside from the money. If it wasn't completely disgraceful, I would've divorced her ages ago.

Then I find out that I won't have access to my beloved Lucius for a month! That bastard is leaving me alone at the Ministry for a month with nobody to talk to except that git I work with. I don't even know his name. Montague or something like that. The Prewetts don't talk to me unless they're inebriated and I only have Lucius to blame for that. Whatever will I do for a month on my own?
